A massive police cordon on Balfour Road and Forest Road was successfully stood down after an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team investigated a suspected unexploded wartime bomb. The device was discovered inside a flat by property clearers, prompting a temporary residential evacuation before a bomb disposal robot deemed the item safe.
