Merseyside Police officially confirmed that there is "no evidence of foul play" regarding the tragic discovery of a newborn baby girl found by two young boys in the Leeds-Liverpool Canal in Bootle. A post-mortem concluded the baby was stillborn, though detectives are still anxiously appealing to find the mother to offer urgent medical and psychological support.
