Liverpool’s status as a global music capital has received a massive boost today as the team behind the Sound City festival announced a major partnership with the modernmusic creative network to establish a new grassroots music hub in the heart of the Baltic Triangle. Located inside a newly converted, industrial warehouse space on Jamaica Street, the innovative cultural facility will serve as a permanent multi-use venue featuring recording studios, digital editing suites, and an intimate live performance space. The project has been funded through a regional creative tourism grant aimed at keeping Liverpool at the forefront of the independent music industry. The hub will host regular unsigned showcase nights, creative masterclasses, and international artist-in-residence programs, offering tourists and music fans a unique glimpse into the city's next generation of sonic talent.
